Freelancers are a tight-knit community. Running a solo business can be isolating, so you need the right people around you in your working life. Co-working spaces allow that to happen. They bring freelancers together to network, collaborate and learn from each other. They’re where big ideas are formed.

If you’re a co-working space, or you’ve formed a similar freelancing community, we think the invaluable work you do should be recognised. That’s why this year, we’ve come up with a whole new category: the Community Award. Our vast network of members will know that if they’re looking for a vibrant, supportive new workplace, they can turn to you.

We’ll be looking at a whole host of factors in deciding who makes the cut. The best workspaces offer a wide range of facilities to lots of different businesses, and how you support freelancers will be an important differentiator.

There’s an entry fee of £150, which covers the cost of sending an IPSE representative wherever in the UK you may be.
